The district of Queens has also been added to the game, expanding the map. Since it’s located on the eastern side of East River, the river itself has also become important, as the player will get to chase down bandits escaping along it by boats.

Marvel’s Spiderman 2 Walkthrough
Powered by an extraterrestrial symbiote, the villain threatens all of Marvel’s New York over the course of the game and pushes the Spider-Men to the very limit. The fight with Venom is especially personal for Peter, both through his own experiences with the symbiote and whom the symbiote has since bonded with, delivering his greatest challenge as a hero. After a large-scale prologue that immediately grabs attention, the plot focuses on the confrontation with the antagonist Kraven the Hunter, who wants to eliminate all superheroes and supervillains. As the struggle with him unfolds, the narrative shifts its focus to Norman Osborn and his son Harry, who suffers from a mysterious illness. Lighting, shadows, and reflections have been revamped to give the game a visual polish. The number of people and vehicle traffic on the streets has increased due to a slight reduction in detail, which is unnoticeable in dynamics.
While it feels a bit poorly paced compared to Marvel’s Spider-Man, the game is still an amazing experience filled with some of the most enjoyable missions in any open-world game ever. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is an action-packed, open-world superhero game that expands on its predecessor with improved gameplay, fluid combat mechanics, and dynamic web-swinging across New York City. Critics highlight its captivating story, compelling characters, and impressive visuals.
But out of this expansive rogues gallery, Venom is the magnum opus that reprises every emotional note the rest of the game has played. Spider-Man 2 foreshadows the looming threat he poses over dozens of its 31 main story missions. Thankfully, you’ll have massively-enhanced gadgetry and powers by the time you finally face him. Despite Spider-Man 2’s relatively forgiving system requirements, the game seems to seriously struggle on PC. I have experienced multiple crashes while playing the game, with the first coming right after the initial cutscenes and before any gameplay. In one particularly annoying instance, the game crashed and even though I closed out of it completely, the audio kept blaring from my computer speakers until I reset my PC.
The rhythm of precision dodges, the new perfect parries (so you’re not only swerving and striking now), and acrobatic finishers are hugely satisfying, as is chasing high-hit combos to keep the fight as stylish as possible. The movement is smooth and the hits are crunching, like some sort of peanut butter hybrid that every one of your foes is allergic to. Every bone in their body may be broken and every organ punctured, but of course, they’ll somehow live to commit crimes again.
But bells and whistles aside, what makes the game so special — even among other Spider-media — is its ability to let players relish the minutiae. Like Stan said, the beauty of Spider-Man is being him, and while Peter’s sections mostly push the narrative forward in operatic ways, the Miles Morales sections make up the soul of the game in meaningful ways. Much of his storyline is centered around the “friendly neighborhood” part of Spider-Man and its here where the immersion and length provided by the video game medium set this title apart from the print and movies.

He can then see who’s the strongest and then take them on himself to prove he’s the apex hunter. Story Walkthrough
The sequel features two main playable characters – Peter Parker and Miles Morales. This time the superheroes must face two primary villains – Kraven the Hunter and Venom. That liveliness is apparent in both the visuals and the motion-captured performances. Even when maniacally whipping through midtown on a spider’s thread, it’s hard not to give into the urge to regularly stop and soak in the glitz of the current gen graphics. In Fidelity mode, the game runs at 4K resolution with full raytracing on display.
